The figures can be identified by the lack of any skull or insignia on them. This can sometimes be tricky as the skull often fades away on the normal figures as well. But most of the times the general condition of the figure or traces of white paint will give it away. Just be sure to carefully inspect the figure before marking it as a "german exclusive".
